Greetings, all Johnny Gray isn't superhuman after all. Back-to-back masters world records weren't in the cards as he took seventh in the USATF indoor nationals 800 today at the Georgia Dome (in a time most masters would kill for). Still awaiting to hear from eyewitnesses on Gray race. Also, I notice in new issue of National Masters News that Carolyn Smith-Hanna, 50, ran a 5:27.33 W50 WR on Jan. 20 at the Hartshorne Memorial masters miles in Ithaca, New York. So her time yesterday was merely a lowering of her own PR -- and world indoor age-group record. Also, check out the British veterans indoor championships results from two weeks ago at http://www.bvaf.org.uk/ (Click on RESULTS). Much good stuff there.
