It's been said on this list before, but bears repeating-

other than Baumann and maybe Mitchell, everybody hit with
charges the last few years says it's because of unlisted
ingredients in supplements they were taking. Ditto for
Hunter- he blames it on iron supplements.

Why do they take supplements? Because it's easier than
eating the green beans and broccoli that they don't care
for.

Well guess what- there's probably a lot less chance that
green beans and broccoli are spiked with unlisted stuff
that's on the banned list, than pills out of a bottle.

Why is that so hard to understand?

If everybody says throw the bottles in the trash, it's
not worth the risk, and you keep poppin' the pills
anyway, then you're an idiot. Idiots don't get sympathy.

P.S.- I hate broccoli myself, but if I were an elite athlete
I'd hold my nose and eat it rather than pop pills to
try to ingest whatever's in broccoli in a different way.

One last note- there IS one possible explanation that would
reveal why athletes continue to pop "supplements" when everybody
says the risk isn't worth it- an explanation that says they're
not just idiots-
some of them are not really popping supplements at all, but
are outright intentially doping to get a performance enhancement.
