Along those lines, I heard Masback being interviewed
on TV from Eugene and he rejected the notion that Webb
could be U.S. track and field's saviour, saying, "You
can't save something that doesn't need saving."
I have a lot of respect for Craig and I like him
(and we are both graduates of White Plains High
School), but it seems to me that we're in bigger
trouble than I thought if the sport's leader isn't
acknowledging a problem.
