Goergia Tsiligiri broke the Greek pole vault record with a clearance of 4,
37 m. tonight, during the Balkan Indoor Champs held in Piraeus. Another
record came by Maria Papadopoulou who won the 800 m. race in 2' 04" 94.,
while Stavros Kouroupakis broke the 13-year-old juniors pole vault record
with 5, 36 m.

Marija Martinovic broke the Yugoslavian triple jump record with 14, 26 and
Agni Charalambous the high jump record for Cyprus with 1, 84 m.

Paraskevi Patoulidou, at the age of  37, ran the out of competition 60 m.
race, but she was the faster sprinter, setting a 7" 36. Patoulidou made the
standard set by the Greek Federation for the participation in Vienna
European Championships.
