Netters:
If I read correctly in the latest issue of Marc Bloom's Harrier today,
the national junior and senior meets are to be held together this year on
June 21-22 or thereabouts.
This is hardly something new, though the old junior-senior format
was a little different with the junior meet then being for athletes of any
age who had not yet won a national title on the junior or senior level.
With both meets now so whittled down by qualifying standards (not to
mention probable defections on the senior level with no major individual
world competition this year), the move makes sense.
