Hi Donna, The 19.99 give you unlimited access to the web as opposed to the other plans, which limit what ports you can connect to (i.e. with the $4.99 plan you can only surf the web, with the $9.99 plan you can surf and check email, with the $19.99 plan you can do what you like) The accelaration is most likely done via software compression and will help to "speed up" web page views, but speed tests are usuasly conducted with data that doesn't compress so you are able to see the real speed. The results you got though are typical for when you have good signal. T-Mobile, and I've asked them a couple of times to clarify on their site, needs to do a better job of explaining each plan, I've even talked to customer support people who weren't sure of the difference.
