I was all over NYC recently - Harlem included. I had to make/receive
calls for work, and had no problems what what so ever anywhere I went. I
even had great reception in both the Lincoln and Holland Tunnels.

Subject: [T-Mobile-US] Major NYC Problem/80% of my calls are inaudible
to me (xmit is ok)

Hi,
I am a T-Mobile customer in NYC (harlem). For about 3 weeks 80% of my
calls are
inaudible to me. The other person usually hears me fine, but all I hear
is a horrible digital
distortion when the person talks, sometimes I can make out a few words,
but rarely.
Sometimes the call starts ok, but than quality degrades sharply till I
have to hang up. I
have 3 T-mobile numbers and 5 different GSM phones. I have the same
result for all. Its
driving me CRAZY as I use my phone for business all day. Is anyone
having this problem or
know what is going on?
T-mobile says they are aware of the problem and working on it (for 3
weeks) but offer me
no details. I have been with them (started with voicestream) and have
spent thousands
with the company (as I used to REGULARLY go over my plan.)
Does anyone know what is going on?
