I've heard about this at the store-level but don't know how they do it. I have a friend that said they promised him TMO Internet for $19.99 w/o a contract and using a dedicated SIM (so not the add-on plan). He's not a customer so maybe this is a deal they have only for newbies?
-----Original Message----- Hi. I heard that people bought a PCMCIA card off ebay and were able to sign up for T-mobile internet without a contract. One guy said he was told he could not, but when he tried again at a store, they let him. I spoke to a store representative and another rep, and they said contract was required. Also, is there no way around the setup fee? The store does not want to give me a free card either. I guess that deal is long over at their stores? But online I can find many places to at least give me a free card, when I go for the setup fee & contract. I'm just trying to figure out if it's reasonable to pay for the card ($100), and set up, and have a contract. Thanks. ------------------------ Yahoo!
