Today I broke down and purchased a Cingular branded Nokia 6230b via ebay. I will be unlocking it myself. Should be here next week.
I saw the recent post by [muevelonyc] regarding the 6230i t-zones config issues. What are the differences between the two models? I assume that using this OTA config from T-Mo (https://secure.mouse2mobile.com/clients/tmobileUS/ota_support/) that I should not have any issues? Can anyone confirm this? When you go to configure the settings at this website it does in fact list 6230 as a phone option. I briefly played around with a 6230b demo unit at my local Cingular store today and quickly navigated into the Connection settings and it looked like it could be modified like I have done with my 6590i. Anyone using this phone on T-Mo? I have a 2.99 t-zones plan I hope will work on this handset as well as the POP email application. Thanks, -Mark ------------------------ Yahoo!
