I've had the same 6600 for while a now, without problems you
described, the motorola v600 interface is very confusing if you are
used to a Nokia, I'd recently bought a Moto a630 and the user
experience was so bad that I returned it.  If you want to move away
from Nokia, I suggest the Sony Ericsson line (the T610 has pretty bad
recption, so I'd stay away from it but the interface and features were
nice) but the others like the T630 seem pretty good.
