Not long ago t-mo sold several different devices under the "handheld" tabs. I remember Treos, iPaqs, Blackberrys, etc. Now it seems they are limited to Blackberrys. The Treo 600 is still available under the business category, but they never seemed to jump onto the 650 bandwagen. They have also removed the iPaqs.
Now I hear rumors that the tZones service is being revamped, yet at the same time t-mo is starting to quietly roll out EDGE service. What is going on? I t-mo giving up on selling high end devices? Or, is it simply clearing the slate before launching a bunch of EDGE enabled devices all at once? Has anyone heard any information on which direction t-mo is going? Cingular is years ahead of t-mo in terms of data device selection, but t-mo is far less expensive. I for one would love to see t-mo carry the 650 and the HP hw6515.
