Hi folks:
Hoping someone can shed a light to a problem Im having. My parents ae on vacation in Puerto Rico and e're on a family plan. While they're there their phone is on the Suncom and AT&T towers depending on the time of the day, it just switches from one tower to the other. Problem is, I started looking at the messaging charges and there is this incoming number (405) 472-8008 that appears on the messaging charges very frequently. This month I got the same number above with the addition of two outgoing messages to (206) 313-00XX and one to (907) 831-93XX (thats Valdez, AK and we don't know anyone there). Now my parents are not the most techno savvy people and they don't know how to use the phone. So my question is: 1- Is the incoming number a charge for someone leaving a voicemail message while theyre roaming on the Suncom or AT&T networks? 2- Is there a way to restrict or disable the use of incoming/outgoing text messages so tat we don't keep on getting charged? This wasn' a problem until they went on vacation a few months ago. BTW, I did a search on text messages but the only message I saw didn't really answer the queston, hence the reason I made a posting. Any comments would be appreciated. Cheers R ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Get fast access to your favorite Yahoo! Groups.
