I have a Nokia 3595 and my Dad has a Motorola V170. My Dad bought the V170 to replace a Tracfone and he wanted a flip phone because with his previous Nokia he sometimes thought he had hung up a call and had not. I wanted him to get a Nokia because I'm more familiar with the menus, and I'm the one that programs his phones for him. The V170 is the only flip phone that Walmart had for Tracfone. Here gsm on Tracfone is actually on T-mobile. (All of the Tracfones they sell now are gsm, hopefully that will get T-mobile to put up more towers in the area.) I'm on T-mobile to go. On Phonescoop.com the v170 received mostly bad reviews from users.
The other day we were inside a local restaurant and I could not get a signal but he could. Has anyone else made comparisons between different brands/models of phones? I'm planning on replacing my 3595 eventually, but I'll probably have to wait a few weeks. I'm wondering if I should get something besides another Nokia. -- Email [EMAIL PROTECTED] home page http://www.geocities.com/richard_mccombs/ - - T-Mobile-US on Google Groups: http://groups.google.com/group/T-Mobile-US _ _ Yahoo!
