Sure you could. In fact there are even some companies that are making
routers that are capable of accepting a PC Data card to enable use of a
wireless data connection in a lan setup. Obviously I wouldn't want to do
that with T-Mobile's EDGE but it's an interesting idea. Even with those
devices using an EV-DO card it is intended as a backup rather than primary
connection.

Nevertheless you should be able to share ANY internet connection. To the
computers that are connecting to the machine that is making the internet
connection they don't care how it is made just that the connection is made.

To make it work you would need to setup the connection on a pc and then
share that internet connection. If you're having trouble with this
connection make sure that you have opened the ports in the firewall from
that machine, since this is not a standard connection that would normally be
made.

I suggest a Google search on how to share an internet connection in windows
xp. There are bound to be a dozen of how-tos and tutorials.

Subject: [T-Mobile-US] 2 computers using T-Mo data plan

If I am using my cellphone with the $29.95/mo add-on data plan with my
laptop, would it be possible to also get internet access, at the same time,
from my husband's laptop? At home we have a wireless router hooked up to a
Road Runner modem. But I can't figure out how you could hookup a router
with a cellphone or if there is something else for this purpose. Any input
appreciated. Thanks. DonnaB
