When I answer incoming calls on my Blackberry Pearl, I am able to say hello at first, but then the mic goes silent for about 5 seconds or so where I can hear the caller, but they can't hear me. I noticed the same problem back when I used to call a friend of mine who had a Pearl before I got mine, but I actually thought it was my older phone at the time. Anyone know if this a common problem with the Pearl? Is there an easy fix or should I contact TMo for a replacement? I've been living with the problem for quite some time now, and it hasn't really bothered me all that much. The last straw, however, was the other day when someone said it was like one of those Cingular commercials where the phone goes silent. Yup, time to do something about it.
