I take that back. While it seems that they aren't going to come out and say 
that you can, the CTO seems to feel that tethering is okay as long as a very 
large contingent of people aren't doing it. That being the case, I hope they 
still feel that way when I'm eligible for a phone upgrade in six months.

My only complaint is that the device cannot be tethered from what I read. In 
that case, it would take quite a bit to go over 1 gb.

That seems a little harsh.  They require either a $35 (unlimited data &
messages) or $25 (unlimited data + 400 messages) add-on to buy the unit.
