Keep in mind that the recent modern "system 40" Nokia phones you can use the rocker keys [at the side of the center selection button] (up, down, right, and left) and make those immediately bring up a phone function. I have up rocker for alarm, down rocker for calendar, right rocker to compose text messages and left rocker to open my messages inbox.
