To what end though? If the host looks on the cable and sees BSY=0
and there's a signature present in the taskfile of 01,01,00,00 (SC,
SN, CL, CH) Then there's no need to issue the Execute Diagnostics
whatsoever. The device is present by virtue of the signature.
EX. DIAG. Can't be used to determine whether the device 1 is valid,
because the command actually targets both devices and as a side
effect, selects device 0.
Even if the hardware were so careless as to miss the pulldown on
DD:7, the diagnostic command doesn't really accomplish anything.
