I once build a "as much as possible" rootfs with about 800(!) packages
cross build, including gtk+. But that was just a stability test and some
months ago.
Maybe post the issues you run into to help and fix problem as they
appear. However, we'll also soon provide cross built binary packages
for all T2 supported architectures.
