update: today it works as a charm... I have no idea why, but the downloads run
fine.
I have a compile error, but probably this may result from a broken file from
yesterday. That's why I deleted my hole downloads directory and re-download
everything...

Subject: [t2] download problem(s)
Hello,
I just make a second try to build a T2 system. This time on another host that
sit's behind a firewall/proxy.
I have massive problems to download the packages. I have set the proxy
(http-proxy with ftp support) in the system, the environment variables are set
for http and ftp.
Additionally I use the -proxy parameter for the download script.
As a result the download script is not able to connect to the mirrors. I tried
multiple times on exactcode.de and osiris...
The script then tries to download from the original url's with differing
results. Some packages are OK, many do not download at all (meanwhile I
installed GIT, CVS and SVN) and many download but give checksum errors.
The download of the mirror-list and the following speedtest DO work however.
What can I do to make the downloads working?
Can I download the mirror-tree some other way and use the download as local
mirror?
