I fould out in th eproject homepage that t2-prject is supporting Sony PS3 now, but I did not find any option about PS3 in the script/Config menu. How could I do?
yes, T2 on the PS3 works (I have one near me), but we did not yet integrate creating a "bootable cd". For the PS3 you can use any PPC(32) or PPC64 build output of T2 (as the Cell in the PS3 has a sort of regular PPC64 core). I usually use the desktop target. You can also use the pre- built images, e.g. desktop ppc32 or ppc64. Choosing ppc64 has the benefit of being able to build kernels (which AFAIR are required to be 64bit for the PS3). The only hackery part is to setup some the otheros boot- loader and change the t2 kernel config to build with ps3 support. You can basically follow any tutorial for that on the web, e.g. for Debian, Yellow Dog etc. I wish I had more time to integrate some "set everything up as needed for the PS3" option, but , well ... Let me know if you have open questions, such as more details. I could also take the time to write a T2 zine article about PS3 hackery (yes, I know I promised to write a T2 & distcc article next :-) Wish all a sunny weekend, René -- René Rebe - ExactCODE GmbH - Europe, Germany, Berlin http://exactcode.de | http://t2-project.org | http://rene.rebe.name
