Hi Harri, welcome to the T2 SDE mailing list :-)

Found this T2 just by accident, trying to build simple linux to old

it should be very interesting system to play with and make small /
efficient systems.. So..
I downloaded t2-binary
(http://dl.t2-project.org/binary/stable/7.0-rc2/minimal-i486/t2-7.0-rc2-minimal-i486.iso),
managed to install it, and tried to compile T2-embedded.
No go. Tried compile generic with minimal packages, no go. Tried with
7.0.rc2 tarbal and 8.0-trunk
...
But, if i'm not totally wrong, my downloaded minimal system should be
enought to compile t2?
Yes, it should be enough. Where all the builds you've done inside this
minimal T2 system?
I installed it pretty much "defaults" with all packages.
There is something wrong with me, and my system also, but what did I
miss?-)
Probably just with either the build host or the build configuration.
However, to help I first need to further understand what exactly you
tried to build on what kind of system, e.g. if the failure was from
building T2 inside T2 or on a foreign Linux flavor.
If i make clean installation of T2-minimal, what should i look for? Is
there something that can be done wrong enough?-)
Nor really. However, maybe take a look to install of of the minimal T2,
and not skip some packages like perl or so (if you intend to build
another system inside that minimal installation).
Looking forward to be more helpful with some more verbose build details,
