Hi,
the bootstrap selection is to get a minimal system you can chroot() into,
or copy to another system (e.g. root-server/vserver) to have a minimal
system
to be able to compile T2 or more packages.
Additional stuff like boot loader etc. are left out intentionally. The
minimal
freestanding system is the minimal selection one below the bootstrap
selection.
I think it might work when you just change it and let T2 build the remaining
packages.
We thought bootstrap would be a well known CS term, however as you
are not the first one left in this situation I think it's time to give the
bootstrap selection a little more verbose name ...
Greetings,
René

Hello,
I just did a clean build from trunk of the "Generic System" image with
the "Bootstrap" package selection for i484. I accidentally left the
"LiveCD" option set, but I assume that's not important right now. The
build terminated with the output:
Finishing build.

There were no .err files in <root>/var/adm/logs, and no logs
whatsoever for grub. I found and am attaching 0-linux-header.log and
1-linux-header.log, on the off chance that there's anything useful
there.
If there are any other logs that I don't know about that would be
helpful, please do let me know.
