Hi all,
we spent quite some time on optimizations the t2 website over
the last quarter which resulted in a nearly 50% increase of
unique visitors on the t2-project.org website.
Among other changes (and cooperation with external sites)
the package matrix now exposes way more information,
supported package architectures, package's file list, etc.:
http://t2-project.org/packages/yaboot.html
http://t2-project.org/packages/luajit.html
The IRC logs spot inter date links:
http://t2-project.org/irclogs/t2-2009-01-20.html
And the startpage also got a makeover and more
external project links included:
http://t2-project.org/startpage/
The startpage is also the page the T2 built Mozilla browsers
open by default on the first start-up.
Also interesting to note is that the startpage has nearly
4 times as many visits than the top-level site root:
http://t2-project.org/
Which probably indicated we got quite an install base
and thus daily browser users leaving their browser
startpage unchanged!
Most impressive is, that we reached a steady increase
of visitors even without major release announcements
(which we really should get out of the door, now,
anyway).
