Hi,
T2 seem to have now Linux26 2.9.29 version. However, compilation (or
preparing of this source pkg) fails because it tries to apply SquashFS patch
set, but it is not available. It throws "squashfs version2patch translation
missing" error msg.
But, I think SquashFS kernel patching is no longer needed. 2.9.29 integrates
SquashFS into the mainstream.
"2.6.package/filesystem/squashfs-tools/pkg_linux_pre.conf" file should be I
guess modified to ignore this patching with >=2.6.29 kernel. I did quick
hack, but it is definetly the correct way to do it, because it works only
with 2.6.29 kernels, but fails again with 2.6.30+ kernels (case statement in
this file does nothing for 2.6.29 kernel version).
Yes, I already removed the squashfs post-linux kernel module build
parts, but am waiting for the squashfs-tools 4.0 upstrem release for
a commit that includes the whole transition.
In the meantime (day?) I suggest to disable squasfs-tools and unionfs
in trunk builds until they cought up.
