I get the same error after adding the rules reported below.

Hello René,

I don't know what's going on with the list!
I got only your post from today.
?
Anyway: just enable the expert option section, enable custom
package selection and add the rules:
O dietlibc
O embutils

It brings nothing new?
What do you mean?

Greetings,

Zitat von René Rebe <[email protected]>:

It arrived on the list multiple times and I already answered it
(why do you think it did not arrive?), to re-paste my answer:

ah sorry, I have not yet fixed dietlibc (and thus embutils) for
ARM EABI. Just deselect dietlibc and embutils. You'll usually
not need them on the BeagleBoard.

(in theory I could even upload the 2GB 1500 package T2 build
that lives on my Beagle rev-B, ... if I just had a minute to
polish it some more, ...)

Anyway: just enable the expert option section, enable custom
package selection and add the rules:

O dietlibc
O embutils

Alternatively you could fix dietlibc for ARM EABI.

ich versuche seit Do. letzter Woche diese Nachricht zu posten.
Leider kommt diese nicht an!
Mache ich etwas falsch?

Betreff: Re: Built ARM cortex-a8 (beagleboard) faild

Hello René,

first I had the idea to run the t2-arm in a QEMU.
Last week I got my beagleboard REV C2 ;-)
So fist I have to learn to handle it.
I play around with the angstrom-distribution *sorry* ;-)

Now I want to built a T2 for beagle and run into an error:

- Target Distribution
(generic) Generic System
(minimal) Minimalistic package selection
(none) Just create binary packages and isofs.txt

- Architecture, CPU and Optimization
(arm) ARM (Advanced RISC Machines)
(el) Build for little endian machines
(cortex-a8) cortex-a8 CPU
(gnueabi) GNU EABI

After #./scripts/Cleanup I get some warnings!

Searching for lingering temp/backup files (this may take some time) ...
WARNING: Found package/./vdr/vdr-pin/pin-vdr.diff.old
WARNING: Found package/./contrib/rtai/.rtai_config
WARNING: Found package/./contrib/rtai/.rtai_config_comedi

Pleas can you guide me how to do this?

You'll also have to add the -omap linux kernel fork for the board
support (as I had no time, yet, to do so).

Greetings,
ToM
