Hi,
I'll update the meta info, and also add the new package (probably
today).
For us stable means rock solid, API stable. For classic U*ix like
packages,
this usually means when they have no 0 as major version number
component :-)

René

Yes, sure. Feel free to propose.
I did not flatly post a patch because i am
unsure about your policies with .desc info.
libburn.desc describes the software at
http://icculus.org/burn/
[I] An open-source library for reading, mastering and writing
optical discs
[T] Libburn is an open-source library for reading, mastering and
writing
optical discs.
[A] Dana Jansens
[A] Derek Foreman
That one has shown no progress since mid 2006.
The last released version is 0.2.
T2 is actually offering the software component
libburn from http://libburnia-project.org/
[U] http://libburnia-project.org/
[V] 0.6.6.pl00
That's the current version where i am the main
developer since august 2006.
It inherited the capabilities of icculus-libburn
and extended them to CD TAO, DVD, and BD media.
(Taking a bow towards Andy Polyakov's growisofs.)
--------------------------------------------------
Proposal:
[I] A burn library for CD, DVD, BD and a cdrecord emulator.
[T] Libburn is an open-source library by which preformatted data
get onto optical media: CD, DVD, BD (Blu-Ray). It comes with
a cdrecord compatible command line application named cdrskin.
[A] Mario Danic
[A] Thomas Schmitt
Whether to keep
[A] Dana Jansens
[A] Derek Foreman
depends on whether the founders of a project shall
stay named as authors even if overthrown by a fork
some years ago.
They are still undisputed participants in the
copyright of libburn.
What does "Status Beta" mean exactly ?
libburn is intended for production systems.
Not that there would be no bugs to be expected,
but it gets constantly tested by doing backups
with checkreading.
--------------------------------------------------
Further proposal:
T2 already covers libisofs from libburnia-project.org.
We have a third component, libisoburn, which i cannot
find yet in T2. It would be worth, though:
[I] A library and an application for multi-session ISO 9660
filesystems.
[T] Libisoburn coordinates libburn and libisofs to enable
creation and manipulation of ISO-9660 filesystems on
CD, DVD, BD, in disk files, or into pipes. It comes
with a command line application named xorriso, which goes
quite beyond the limitations of mkisofs.
[U] http://libburnia-project.org/
[A] Vreixo Formoso
[A] Thomas Schmitt
[C] extra/filesystem
[L] GPL
[V] 0.3.8.pl00
[D] ?????????? libisoburn-0.3.8.pl00.tar.gz
http://files.libburnia-project.org/releases/
Dependencies on Linux:
libc, libpthread, libburn, libisofs
Optional dependencies on Linux:
readline-devel, libreadline, libacl-devel, libacl, zlib-devel, zlib

Have a nice day :)
