Just wondering, did you try to build from trunk, or from one of the stable releases? (Trunk breaks randomly fairly often.)
Did you try to build on a T2 system, or on a different distro? If it's another distro, what is it? :-) (I've spent some time building on both Ubuntu and Fedora, so if you're willing to be a little more descriptive about the failures, I *might* be able to help. No promises, though.) But yes, re-running scripts/Config is usually helpful. Also, sometimes after I *really* hose a configuration, I'll delete the build (look under the build/ directory for a folder matching the image you are trying to build) then re-run Configure, then start the build again. That's really a last resort option, though, because you have to start *all* over again.
