Thanks Roger for your help. There's no crypttab man page in sources and this one needs to be created.
I will try to see if it's possible to fix the issue but for now you can use anything for luks device: home /dev/sda4 none home /dev/sda4 default home /dev/sda4 blank home /dev/sda4 whatever all that should work as 3rd field is ignored. Sorry, completely forgot about this :/ and thanks for bring this up :) Cheers, Aldas On Mon, Aug 16, 2010 at 6:20 PM, Roger Mason <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hi Aldas, > > I got my encrypted home partition up and running by using this entry in > crypttab: > > home /dev/sda4 none > > I found the information here: > http://manpages.ubuntu.com/manpages/karmic/man5/crypttab.5.html > > T2 seems not to install the crypttab man page. At least, 'man 5 > crypttab' does not find the man page, if it exists. > > Cheers, > Roger > > > > ----------------------------------------------------------- > If you wish to unsubscribe from this mailing, send mail to > [email protected] with a subject of: unsubscribe t2 >
