Hey all,
it took a bit time, basically because we are a little bit busy with so many
things, … Since gcc-4.8 the GNU compiler collection is utilizing C++, requiring
modified bootstrapping during cross compilation, … to have the C++ STL around
for it, ...
After some trial’n error -we had much more complex setup before- the gcc-4.8 /
4.9 updates finally hit trunk.

And while we where at it we added initial support for the new 64-bit ARM64
(aarch64), too:
