what exactly is wrong with the existing fixfile / fixfilediff?
I liked the idea of saving the patch file though, indeed saves me some typing
as I usually run it like:
fixfilediff > ../package/*/x/hotfix.patch
Now it takes an optional argument to spare all that typing to simply:
fixfilediff hotfix
Committed revision 43191.
The rebuild is also not that much simpler than:
^D scripts/Build-Pkg x
and the in-tree rebuild may be fragile with complex packages, target overlays
and such, …?
IMHO we should keep the build core scripts as simple as possible, they are at
times already complex enough. And rather add your dependency tracking, and fix
and updates kde, gnome, and friends.
