My memory of this is a bit vague, but I think there were some problems
with parted 3.0, at least for using it with gparted. parted 3.1 was
alright. Well, 3.2 is now out.

Throw away 'readline_fix.patch'

Um, I get a compile error with 3.2, tested 3.1 that compiles ok, so
will stay with 3.1 for now -- if anyone wants to figure out why 3.2
fails, go for it.

Here is my package/filesystem/parted/parted.desc:

[U] http://www.gnu.org/software/parted/

[A] Andrew Clausen <[email protected]>
[M] Rene Rebe <[email protected]>

[C] extra/filesystem
[F] CROSS

[L] GPL
[S] Stable
#[V] 3.0
[V] 3.1
[P] X ---3-----9 218.900

#[D] 3766401837 parted-3.0.tar.xz http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/parted/
[D] 0 parted-3.1.tar.xz http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/parted/

I made a change to the parted.conf file, commented-out one line:

# BK lib/stdio.in.h not there...
#hook_add preconf 5 "sed -i -e '/gets is a/d' lib/stdio.in.h"

Barry
