Returnuing to my build, I find that everything has gone well until near the end
of stage 5. Lots of X11 packages have failed. Tracking back the errors the root
cause seems to be no GL. Here is the end of 5-xorg-server.err:

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables GL_CFLAGS
and GL_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.
Due to previous errors, no 5-xorg-server.log file!
(Try enabling xtrace in the config to track an error inside the build system.)

What am I doing wrong? I have looked through the packages list and can find no
package called gl (nor opengl which is also mentioned in some files). Surely
the correct packages were chosen automatically at the configure stage (I chose
the 'minimal xorg' option)?

Which package should I include in order to proceed?

Many Thanks, Richard
