Yes, many packages do not allow building for a real i386 anymore. AFAIR beside
glibc also the latest Linux kernels. For this kind of packages (you could still
build with another libc, and custom defined older Linux kernel) you need to
choose at least i486 in the T2 scripts/config under CPU optimization.
(IIRC your Geode LX may even run i586 code.)
