Well, there are lots of packages in my local T2 that are different versions, later ones that I haven't yet notified about. One thing to note: xine-ui compiles ok for i686, however for x86_64 it refuses to compile the 'xine' binary executable, only 'fbxine'. I tried to figure out why, gave up. Instead, compiled it in my target native x86_64 system, same configure options, and 'xine' builds as expected. Just noting this, for anyone who gets onto compiling xine-ui.
