Hey there,
given everything becomes larger and compiles forever, even on new AMD Ryzen
2700 16-core silicon, I had this idea to avoid gcc and just use llvm/clang – as
we need the later anyway for mesa3d. Right now glibc does not build w/ that,
but musl, grub2, as well as the linux kernel is in reach:

Even after a second evening / night on that I’m not yet fully there yet, but at
least we made some scripts more solid, future proof and split out the llvm
package into clang, lldb, lld, and added libcxx, libcxxabi, compiler-rt.
Just a reoccurring reminder how much work all this is and how much time goes
into it ;-)

PS: due to all this changes, t2/trunk llvm / mesa might have a regression or
two, …
that I will likely spot & fix the next time I rebuild some regular desktop /
server of mine.
