Hi René,

My build setup is a bit nonstandard, I used to be able to build on a Ubuntu
16.04 system with some minor fix ups to Ubuntu, but that is no longer possible.
So I am trying other methods. I have started with the
t2-minimal-glib-gcc-x86-64-r48710.iso.

I first tried a VM instal (virt manager) but there VM wouldn’t boot after
installation.
Next I tried a docker container, by lifting the contents from the .iso, and
building the container from that, I have also tried a plain old chroot. These
last 2 methods look like they are working, but I am failing in the same place
with both:

Ninja is complaining in hook_eval: ./configure.py —bootstrap
/use/bin/env: Python: no such file or directory.

There is python3 in toolchain/bin, nut no plain python anywhere. I tried
symlinking pyrthon3 to Python, but I got errors about things being outside of
the roots.

Not sure if this is due to my synthetic build env, or a genuine bug. Can Anyone
else get past this point on a generic minimal build?

Also the “embedded” builds are failing at binutils (can’t find bad/configure.in)
