I haven't had a chance to go through all your diffs yet, but I plan to
do it on my next build session.

I think I mentioned about lzip and xz in my last "Re: [t2]
t2-minimal-glibc-gcc-X86_64-r49128.iso and the T2 Builder", and ed is
in 20-minimal.in so shouldn't need to be in 10-~ unless you are only
building a 10-~. Anyway it builds ok for me set as -1---5---9 108.106 .
I'm moving forward at r49444 now with a few mods and patches (already
mailed out as "[t2] latest diff for r49441"), and I am building a
20-minimal.in at present for a 'test-build', with a linux54 and
linux-firmware54 and not linux 5.5.x. I explained why and included
packagesets earlier, to sort out problems before building a full puppy
packageset.
Also give xz in xz.desc a 01---5---9 setting, seems that the building
system now wants that.

Hi,
I'm at it again. wiped clean my build directory, and started with

compressing lzip file + cksum-test: download/mirror/e/ed-1.16.tar.lz
./scripts/Download: line 506: lzip: command not found
Seems like ed now wants lzip to decompress.
Since I am doing a crossbuild, I think lzip would have to go into
stage 0.
and I also added it to target/generic/pkgsel/10-bootstrap.in, (which
also had xz added fro previous glib dependancies.)
Patches attached.
