Unfortunately, I don't think the reference had the size of the tablets, but 
I'll go double-check to make sure.  When you get into such teeny tablets, 
i.e. less than about 3.5 cm, it is my personal belief that they were probably 
used as amulets.  Also, some of the tiny square items with holes in the four 
corners were actually mounts on belts or horse trappings.
