Because I've been away a lot and my mail gets forwarded infrequently I
hadn't heard about my proposal for Convergence when this was first posted.
But I've now been notified that my proposed class will not be offered. I'm
a little relieved since my life has become considerably more complicated
since returning to Canada to be of help to my elderly parents. Besides I'm
thinking that the process for creating patterns is perhaps better presented
in book or e-book format, where the learner can proceed at his/her own pace
over a longer period of time than a class setting allows. So I'm going to
get a plan together for publishing theory and patterns for both 4-hole and
6-hole tablet weaving. I'm pleased to hear that Linda and Inge are
carrying the torch and keeping tablet weaving alive and well at Convergence
2002!
