Sounds like a course (article) and weaving for horses is in demand. DD has a
job where she's around dogs and horse every weekend and I've looked at the
tack trying to figure out if it could be tabletwoven and what materials.
Most of what I checked is braided and maybe out of nylon.

Since this is a place where people pay to ride the use would be more for
function than looks. Since we just got a dog  that weighs over 100 lbs I
could use a "lead rope" for him too.
