Hi Janis,

My favourite time to weave is when we are camping. Each winter, we pack up
our trailer and head for warmer climates. Soon after we arrive, I setup the
warp by screwing inverted "C" Clamps to each end of the picnic table . Then
do a speed warp around them. I often get neighbouring campers dropping by to
see what I am doing. One woman asked to borrow a tablet weaving book so she
could copy the information for when she returned home. Next time we travel I
plan to bring along a few examples of woven projects and some photocopies of
my "how to instructions" for those who think they might like to try it
themselves. A wonderful way to introduce the craft and meet new people at
the same time. One more thing, I also bring along a pine board that I can
transfer the warp to in case of rain. We have a travel trailer and it just
fits over the bench style dinette.
