Well, actually you do not need to read German to read Otfried's book.
The book is written in German and English as well (parallel in one
book!). I am now not aware of the status of the availability of the book
in the States but as I do have some contact to Otfried (I met him two
weeks ago on the "Flachsmarkt") I have the possibility of geeting his
book very quickly. The book is 80,-- DEM here in Germany and according
to my information mail prices are 15,-- DEM for standard mail, 26,-- DEM
for airmail. Due to the "high" currency exchange rate between USD and
the Euro, sending this book from Germany to the States will be 106,--
DEM which is approx. 48 USD.
Therefore if you like, I can offer you to collect any wishes for the
book (please reply to private mail), will forward them to Otfried (or
will meet him - he lives not to far away from my hometown) and can then
send it out to the States.
