Mostly I disagree. Tablet-weaving design software should not try
to also be HTML web-display page-creation software.
(A -- two different purposes. B--- tablet-weaving design software
is difficult enough all by itself. C-- there are umpteen thousand
HTML webpage creation tools already!)

However, the design files created by the TW software *should*
be in a format that is easy to include on HTML webpages. (GIFs?)

I doubt that database tools are the way to go either, unless I
misunderstand the desired goal.

Do you want a database of projects from various artists? Or do
you want various artists, who have their own webpages, or perhaps
"gallery" webpages so generously provided by Janis Saunders,
to be able to include the design files?

Me, I'd vote for avoiding a centralized database, and decentralizing
to each artist the responsibility for their own work (with the aid
Janis has so generously given). Databases are notorious for
being fixed-format and not allowing flexibility.

If I had anything much to display, I'd put it on my own webpage.
Janis provides Galleries for those who do have much to display but
don't have website-creation skills. I don't see that Databases
add any value whatsoever.

P.S. In an ideal world -- what you propose would be nice. But it's
really not very practical, from an engineering standpoint...
