Does anyone know or even have this kind of >pattern? I don't know what was exhibited at Breda (is there a handlist available anywhere?), but there are several instances of this type of pattern running around in the SCA, usually based on the laurel. I kind of enjoy the fact that one of the medieval depictions displays the weaving of a wreath-y band. ;> I've designed about a dozen variants in double-faced weave, and I know other people who've done so. I've also seen at least two different 3/1 twill versions as well. A couple months back I got a request to share one of these patterns, so I designed one for posting on my website, but my husband has to reconnect the scanner first.
