Lately Viking patterns have been discussed so much that I could not
resist jumping on the bandwagon.  I did it the easy and the hard way,
virtual and real weaving. The Birka pattern pattern is quite complex
and the weaving is slow because you need to rearrange 50% of your
cards every second row. After a little while I could see "the
system". It is slow going but the result is quite pleasing.
