Gudrun, the sling braids are gorgeous!  Not knowing how they are made I can 
only assume that they actually are braids.  I've seen many pictures of 
these in my books about Andean weaving, and I went to a lecture by Ed 
Fraquemont in which they were discussed.  But I've never seen instructions 
for making them.  Can you give me the name of a book?
