Hi Mel

The person I think you should talk to is Hazel Uzzell. She's a member of our
re-enactment society (www.regia.org) as well as one that is before that period
in time (ie: around what you want). I know that she has done an awfull lot on
the dye project Regia runs and does have recipies for woad, weld and madder.
She should also know the appropriate sheep etc.

She may or may not be a member of this list. I will ask her if its OK to pass
