When turning single cards or pack of some cards I normally have one hand beneath the whole pack of cards and do the turning with the other hand. As I am right-hander I am used to hold my left hand beneath the pack while turning with the right hand. When turning, I pull the tablets to be turned up out of the pack (about 1/2 to 3/4 the height of a tablet). (I hope this description is imaginable) I know that some of the Dutch weavers I know use a special board attached to the loom to keep the tablets in their right position. I never saw such a construction up to now but maybe I will see such one end of April having a tablet weaving course in Potshausen (Northern Germany) with Otfried Staudigel.
