Sponsored by TWIST - Tablet Weavers International Studies & Techniques

In a constant effort to waste your bandwidth, there's a new version of GTT
available on my website
(http://users.iafrica.com/e/ec/eckie/tabletweaving/). Well, what else was I
supposed to do over the Easter weekend? :)

Cheers,
Eckhard/Guntram.

V1.10 Changes:

- Threaded-in pattern design: added functionality for allowing individual
cards to idle. In the card list at the bottom of the screen, click on the
card number to idle the card. The number will turn red to show that it is
idling; click again to reactivate the card.
- Added an option to the weaving image for marking idling cards.
- Added an option to the Settings to determine whether the note editor for a
pattern should be shown automatically.
- Design forms are automatically maximized to fill all the available window
space.
- Added option in the double-face designer for showing the twining direction
of the cords on top of the pattern. This option is not yet available in the
3/1 broken twill designer.
- Fixed a small bug in the threaded-in pattern designer that made a hash of
the pick list when a pick was deleted while working with packs.
- Added display profiles so that design images can be easily shown in a
particular format. Clicking on the 'Capture Profile'button stores the
settings of the display; they can be retrieved at anytime by clicking on the
'Select Profile' button. The profiles can be deleted or renamed via the
Settings menu.
- Added an option to the double-face and broken twill designers for saving
the design as a threaded-in pattern instead of the the default. The Save
Pattern dialogue now has a second option in the 'Save as type' field.
Saving as a threaded-in pattern allows the design to be edited in ways that
are not possible in the double-face and twill designers.
- Updated all the design forms to keep track of the file name for the
design. No more accidentally saving the pattern as the wrong file!
- Fixed a bug in the pattern loading method that caused twist actions to be
lost. Tsk tsk!
- Added an option to the threaded-in pattern designer to allow the turning
direction of a card in a specific pick to be changed or set to idle. There
are now two ways in which the directions can be manipulated:
The old 'Toggle direction' option is still available, and as before acts on
all picks from the selected one onwards. The new option acts only on the
selected pick, and rotates the direction of the card between Forwards,
Backwards, and Idle.
- Added a grid view of the card actions to the threaded-in pattern
designer. In most ways this grid duplicates the actual display with the
'Mark Direction Changes' and 'Mark Twist Points' options set, except that it
distinguishes between pack actions and individual card actions.
- Fixed a bug in the double-face designer that caused an access violation
when attempting an Undo before any actions had been performed.
- Added a tab for the Known Bugs to this form. Of course this list should
be empty! :)
